When God Stands With You, Even the Planets Lose Their Power

Dhritrashtra (father of 100 kauravas and blind with eyes), the king of the Kauravas, once sought to know in advance who would become the next king of the kingdom of Hastinapur. Not just one, but several selected astrologers were called and asked about the future of the throne.
According to their calculations, many astrologers confidently assured King Dhritrashtra that his son, Duryodhan, would certainly become the next king. Hearing the same prediction from so many learned astrologers made Dhritrashtra extremely confident. Believing that destiny had already chosen his son for the throne, he became even more determined to fight for the kingdom, trusting completely in the predictions of astrology.
Later, during the time of the Mahabharata war, when the Kauravas began to lose and the Pandavas started gaining victory, Dhritrashtra once again called the astrologers. He said to them, “My son cannot be defeated. There is a strong yog in his horoscope to become the king. Please check again where the calculation might have gone wrong.”
After eleven days of battle, the astrologers again sat together and examined the positions of the stars and planets. After studying the nakshatras carefully, they said that according to astrology, Duryodhan should still win.
But then they also said something deeper. They said there is One who owns these nakshatras, who controls the movement of the planets and holds the entire universe in His hands. There is a divine power greater than all astrological calculations, a power that can change the direction of destiny itself. When that power intervenes, even astrology can fail.
Hearing this, Vidur, a great devotee of Krishna, stood up and smiled. He said, “The One who controls all these nakshatras and planets is Lord Krishna Himself. He is the master of the universe and holds everything in His hands.”
The essence of this is simple. When God stands beside you, the movements of planets cannot harm you, because the One who controls the planets is already with you.
Secondly, if the Guru is strong in a person’s birth chart, that person is rarely affected by negative planetary influences. And even beyond astrology, those who walk with faith, devotion, and complete trust in their Guru are protected in ways that calculations alone cannot explain.
