  1. Sit in a comfortable position (Padmasana or Sukhasana).

  3. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
  4. Use your right thumb to close your right nostril.
  5. Inhale slowly through the left nostril.
  6. Close the left nostril with your ring finger.
  7. Release the right nostril and exhale slowly.
